Veneers

Veneers offer a great way of transforming your smile with just one treatment. They are very thin layers of porcelain which are adhered to the front of your teeth. Because they cover the whole front surface, they can hide many imperfections including discoloured, chipped, cracked or misaligned teeth.

They are often used for smile makeovers because of their versatility, and are frequently seen in TV makeover programmes such as Ten Years Younger.

The procedure involves preparing your teeth by shaping them and taking a very thin layer (1mm or less) from the surface of your teeth to make room for the veneers.

We take an impression, or mould, of the area, which is sent to our dental laboratory. A skilled craftsman makes each veneer so the veneers fit perfectly and look and feel natural.

Once ready - usually within about two weeks - the veneers are bonded into place, giving you a beautiful, natural-looking smile.
